MY UNIT ISN'T PRODUCING VISIBLE VAPOR. AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG?
The PUFFiT™ was not designed to be a “big clouds” vaporizer. However, vapor production can vary a lot depending on type of blend, moisture content, fineness of grind etc. A temperature setting of 7-8 should provide noticeable vapor for just about any blend. Be sure to really FILL the heat chamber. Most new PUFFiT™ owners underestimate how much material to put into the unit. Best results are achieved from finely ground material PACKED firmly into the heat chamber.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE MY PUFFiT™ VAPORIZER TO HEAT UP?
Heating Time depends on factors such as starting temp, type of blend, and temperature setting but the initial heating cycle should take about 20-30 seconds. Once it is warm it should happen much quicker.
HOW DO I CHARGE MY PUFFiT™ VAPORIZER AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
Simply plug your PUFFiT™ vaporizer into any standard USB source using the supplied cable. Standard charging time will be about 2.5-3 hours. It will not harm the battery to charge it before a low battery warning! When in doubt… plug it in!
HOW MANY USES WILL I GET BETWEEN CHARGES?
Total uses vary with temperature settings and blend but you should get between 25-30 cycles on a full charge. Do not attempt to use your PUFFiT™ vaporizer while charging. Always remove USB cable before starting a vaporizer cycle.
WHAT DO THE SETTINGS 1-8 MEAN?
This is the temperature setting. Temperature ranges from 120°C (250°F) to 220°C (430°F) refer to the instruction manual for more information.
MY PUFFiT™ ISN'T CHARGING...
Check your charging source. If using a laptop or PC, make sure your computer does not go to sleep as some computers shut off power to the USB port during this time. This would mean that even though your unit is plugged in, it’s not charging. If that’s not a problem, try using another USB cable. Note that a full charge takes 2.5-3 hours.
MY PUFFiT™ VAPORIZER LIGHT IS FLASHING. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
The flashing LED tells you what your PUFFiT™ vaporizer is doing. The LED indicates low battery, heating, cooling, charging etc. Refer to the instruction manual for a complete explanation.
IS IT NORMAL FOR THE ALUMINUM CAP OVER THE HEAT CHAMBER TO HEAT UP?
Yes. The aluminum cap will get hot with prolonged use. A silicone heat guard is provided to reduce the potential to overheat tender fingers but when in doubt, replace the mouth cap and allow the PUFFiT™ vaporizer to cool!
HOW DO I FILL THE HERB CHAMBER?
Simply remove the aluminum top cap (Gentle twist and lift, DO NOT force it) and lightly pack your favourite blend into the chamber. The best results are achieved with dry, finely ground blend. Never put liquids, gels or concentrates in your PUFFiT™ vaporizer.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY PUFFiT™?
A cotton swab with a little rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol works very well. DO NOT submerge the PUFFiT™ vaporizer or place it under running water. NEVER use a knife or other hard sharp object as it can damage the heating chamber. We have created a video that walks you through the process step by step.
WHAT ARE THE THREE EXTRA PLASTIC COVERS FOR?
The included mouth piece covers are made of food grade Polypropylene and are meant to provide a clean surface for individual users (in case you want to share your vapour but don’t want to share your germs). They also prevent contamination of USB socket and temp wheel. They are washable and replaceable. Extras can be purchased from your PUFFiT™ vaporizer retailer.
CAN I USE REGULAR TOBACCO WITH MY PUFFiT™ VAPORIZER?
Pipe tobaccos can be used.
IS THE BATTERY USER REPLACEABLE?
No. The integrated high power Lithium battery is made from the latest, safest technology. With care and regular charging it should last for years! Love your PUFFiT™ vaporizer? Charge it regularly!
DO YOU OFFER A WARRANTY?
The PUFFiT™ vaporizer is covered by a 1 Year limited replacement warranty. The battery is covered by a 90 day limited warranty. You should register your PUFFiT™ vaporizer when you purchase it to ensure expedient Warranty claims. Contact your Point of Purchase first for fast warranty replacement. Warranty is not transferable and does not apply to third party resellers such as eBay, Amazon, Rakuten etc. Customers who have purchased through Third Party resellers should resolve their warranty issues through their seller. A valid serial number and full warranty registration is required for warranty claim. Warranty only applies to units sold through Authorized Discreet Vape distributors.
